We're looking for a Maps Evaluator to join our team in Berlin. As a Maps Evaluator, you'll have the opportunity to provide "ground truth" data and insights for applications used by people seeking to explore their town, city, country or culture.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate the relevance and accuracy of routes, local landmarks, points of interest and cultural experiences in your home country.
Verify that business names and opening hours reflect the reality of both the business and the people who search for it.
Verify that distances between starting and destination end-points are accurate.
Evaluate points of interest to ensure they are correctly presented and culturally relevant.
Ideal Candidates:
Fluent in English and German.
Up to date with their local knowledge relating to Germany's geography and culture.
Analytical and knowledgeable, with a readiness to complete an online assessment to validate their skills.
Candidate Requirements:
Must be living in Germany for a minimum of 5 consecutive years.
Must pass an online open-book exam that verifies an understanding of maps reference materials and concepts.
Must be willing to work between 10 and 20 hours per week depending on task availability.
Good working knowledge of search engines, map applications and familiarity with social media platforms.
Strong ability to learn, comprehend and apply multiple sets of instructions to various tasks.
Understand and agree that the work is of an independent nature.
